and he was sharking earlier in the match, didn't wanna sit down and stuff. that mika showed poor class and overreacted goes without saying. high pressure, high temperament moment though
 
This thread has some of the dumbest arguments I have seen and reason I don't waste too much time on social media. De Lunas past has nothing to do with what transpired today. No need for Mika to shout at him. And for those who say the combination was obvious so need to call I would say stick with APA pool 😁

While it was obvious he was playing the combination... if you are playing call shot then that shit NEEDS to be called. Combos and banks, regardless of how obvious or clear they may seem NEED to be called as there is a greater question of a possible safety being played.
 
I watched it live and Mika was in the right in my opinion. It's also not the first time either has been in the middle of controversy but I hear DeLuna name come up way more often in that area.
 
I don't really blame DeLuna for getting up and being ready to take the shot after the ref called a foul. It's a weird situation to imagine being in DeLuna's shoes if he clearly heard Mika call it and let the ref make it a foul anyway. But I don't know what DeLuna heard or not. I'm pretty sure I'd stick up for Mika in that situation even knowing it would be taking the L, but my livelihood doesn't depend upon pool, and being inclined to give it to Mika is probably a good indication it never should.

That said, DeLuna is known for sharking, and although I'm not sure how intentional his behavior during the match was, it bothered Mika.

Yeah Mika didn't handle the situation with grace. It would be better interpersonally if he did. That said, I've played Mika before and watched him a lot. He's what I would call a "person". He's normally a good person, a great competitor, passionate, and fair. But he also has emotions, and they can get the better of him. That's how most of us are.

Both people are very well known for their attitudes and “moves” (aka being a piece of shit human) , them playing each other is just a recipe for this basically every time.
