I do believe there is a ideal cue setup for each individual. It’s physically impossible that there isn’t, it just may not be built yet. The likelihood of finding it, .000000000000000000000001%. Finding a cue close enough to be acceptable is possible and by trying every cue you can get your hands on you can refine what you prefer and make a educated search. My playing cue is a Runde. I originally played with the original shafts. I got sick of hearing how awesome Searing cues were considering I doubt anyone in my state owns one, let alone I’ll ever see it, I bought a Searing shaft to figure out the hype. Now I have my unicorn, shaft is awesome. In conjunction with another thread I posted, I don’t think I could sell this cue. What is the monetary value, replacement insurance value $2500-3000 maybe. Damn near impossible to get a Searing shaft and Bob is 82 and only building few cues here and there.
