Practice practice practice

I have always felt validated when listening to Stephen Hendry. Just got such a high out of this one. Still paused at 5:17.
Couldn't get the technical to work so the link is to Stephen Hendry questions answered.

My left vs right is a factor in keeping it interesting. Along with the simple Puppy Pad Challenge. It's evolving daily. Still keeping me entertained and exercise the body and mind. Races to 10-10-10 seems better for my needs now.

Fight or Flight: Is what I call the comparison of the two types of nerves. At the 11:00 mark begins Stephen's words. My comparison takes me to the point where I am setting the bridge. Where is my mind? Is it attack or retreat. Both can be done from an aggressive stance. Safety s have a positive goal. So if there's less than full commitment to the plan......get back up and sort it.

Ships Log 3-24-23: Wow right hand dominated this morning. Leaving the cue ball in place on the shot that finished the catagory leaves a good trophy picture. Left Right Center yields 8-3-8. All by the Right.

First success:hit the 14 with top left to take White into the 3 for the corner. It works. But needed bump🤷. Still a ball on the break. Now to find 2 or 3 on the break

So, self asked self, "for $50 a game, what would you do?" Well, I would have to play for par 4 first. Just hitting the 14 full and with draw to pull white to the side rail and straight on the 3 which is unmoved.

Ok found the break. This is classified. Place cue ball 4" from the side rail on the head string. Hit the nearest ball full. Cue ball should come straight back 6" or a little more.

Well said.

The fight or flight generates the natural adrenaline. Some drugs replication of same is not healthy. Or as control able. I see it as a weakness in my opponent.🤷 The need can trip them in the end. My favorite encounter with an enhanced Player, (cough cough, Microwave Joe) and I hooked up Race to 10 for 100, on a Geiler table that was tight. So he took the first set so easily that he had the parking brake on towards the end. We negotiate a spot and I win at hill hill with a combo on the 9. Whew, I am even and done. He's down 100 for the helping stuff.🤷
Bob Lilly was the author of my favorite quote, " It ain't the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog."

I was mistaken when I considered my Left my weaker hand. Especially at pool.🤷 As a carpenter the left was the holder with Right as striker. So there are muscles that are stronger on both sides. Same for the mental and aiming. Just different. Not better or worse but stronger in certain things.

"I am a Master" was my swing thought that just brought the 9 for Righty to close the one handed puppy Pad Challenge. On to the Mosconi.😁

Puppy Pad rules are evolving according to my therapy requirements. A 4 or better is required to close a catagory.
One Handy ,osconi Sneaker. With an 8 being required to complete the challenge. Making a new photo op.🤷
Finger warming : The skills put on display serve to inspire me.

Video is gone 🤷

3-28-23 Target practice:
The three leg puppy pad race is evolving still.🤷 Well to suit my needs.
Part of the mental therapy is the score keeping. I start with 2 quarters under the rail. Tails for Lefty and the Right gets heads. With each going in respective direction. The markers then jump up to the rail from 4 to 5 and come back to remain on the rail until encounter with the side pocket then go to the cloth and come back home for a lap of 18.
The 3 Legged Puppy will be the new password.😉

Having coins going in opposite direction then changing direction does have me stopping to think. In practice the scoring miss step is funny. Playing for money, it would have a monetary penalty.🤷

Three ball practice taken one step further. Taking the 3 finish shots from the 3 Legged Puppy challenge. Then add the backward 3 ball rack on the spot. Break from each pad and see what happens. Efren spoke of learning watching the beginners.🤷

Starting from 2 ball pad, soft break for an easy 4. Then shoot the 2 ball. If pocketed and Break 3. Continue with 3 and break on the 13 a complete run would need a Grand Poo Paw name. I missed the easy 2 but made the 3 ball break out. Oh well replace balls switch hands and try again. When the 2 leaves the table that shooting platform is done.🤷 Off I go into the wild blue yonder.
