Scott Frost's opinion about Predator tables

generally when a company makes outrageous claims in their ads you need to suspect their integrity.

the first three sentences of their ad says it all.

whether is is a good or bad table for a homeowner, who knows, not me. im not buying one ever.

I assumed Global Billiards Manufacturing only produced coin-op pool tables? That looks like a 3C table to me.

I’ve tried for almost a year to get a phone call or even a message returned to have a open and constructive conversation. Only to be completely ghosted which only validates my suspicions.

Lastly, I’m sure I’ll be banned from any and all events associated with this company moving forward because that’s what bully’s do. Instead, respond to your messages in messenger like you do your paid players or pick up the phone and call me. Even better let’s go live and discuss it for the world to see and here. CEO’s only because I like it tough.

I have not played on a Predator Table but I can not imagine they would build a sub par table. They want to compete and in order for that to happen they should know that quality tables will sell. I can not imagine what could be wrong with them? If the slate is level, rails are straight, use good rubber for the rails, pockets cut properly, good cloth. What is there so bad about them. There are worse and better in every market.

I might consider one but when you look at the price it’s a no. Why would I pay $500 more for it over a diamond. That seems silly . I’m sure it’s a fine table but I’m not paying more for it compared to what right now is considered the best.

Do a little research on here about Predator's attempt at a pool table. The findings should be clear as day.

Exactly.
If you examine both tables, one is built like a tank and the other is built like a rickshaw.
The predator table does work, and plays OK but is not built to take travel and abuse. It might be an OK table for someone on a budget that was going to set it up and leave it alone if the price was along the same lines as a Valley table. Charging the same or more than what's currently the best you can buy is pretty bold.

A friend who plays in pro tournaments and has gotten to play on the quite a few times and has a diamond at home said they play great. I’m just not paying more for that then a diamond

As usual people are short sighted even when getting a gift because it might not put money directly into their pockets.

Matchroom was already working a business model when Predator/CSI stepped into it, but what Predator is doing is creating
a viewership market. They probably knew up front that it was going to take a while but the sheer amount of money and dedication
that they are putting into the pool market is amazing for any company to do.

It might take them awhile to perfect their table. If there weren't a market for it, they wouldn't be in the business.

The viewership market is a long ways from being at levels to attract large sponsors and we won't get there unless the company that
is developing the market makes a profit.

Things change in markets. It's a known fact.
 
A new pool table in the market place is just the redistribution of money within this sport, nothing more. In order for it to grow, it has to bring in money from outside of this industry, or nothing will ever change.

I just talked to an un-named pro today that said “The Predator Table is junk , and maybe in several years they’ll have it fixed”.
 
its amazing that some are saying they are sure its a good table and have never played on one or more importantly seen one from the inside.

Predator is a shaft company that turned into a marketing company. I've never been impressed by any of their products. It doesn't surprise me a bit that they are having a table built and selling it off of their name.
 
A pool table isn't the space shuttle. It's suppose to be flat, it's suppose to be level. It's suppose to have rails that bank true and pockets that don't spit balls back out. If Scott has a problem which of these critical areas are deficient. You can't get sued if you state the slates not level can you?

Apparently you think thats all there is to a pool table. How about a pool table built cheap as shit and won't last! In case you didn't know it, PLYWOOD not a rail making material!!!
