A robot applying maximum spin?

I wonder if there are stipulations as to the type of ball, what is used to clean it, cloth used on the table. I figure if you had a newley polished ball and used some wax on it on a very slick cloth, you would get a large amount of spin. My son and I were trying it, we only got to about 20 seconds max on the table and balls we used, with 16 being more common.

Wait for brand new cloth. Iron it. Spray on a little silicone. Also put silicone on the cue ball except for where the tip will hit. None of that will show up on camera. I managed to get 45 seconds on a carom table once, but carom cloth is thin and carom balls are larger. I also shot the cue ball into the stick and not the stick into the cue ball. That gives about a 30% boost in equivalent stick speed.

I'm impressed by how little follow/draw the shooter in the Guinness clip got on the ball.

...what generates most spin? A hit close to the center with "industrialisatie force"? Or a hit close to the edge, at the limit of miscueing?
It's pretty obvious (to me at least) that hitting farther from center ball generates more spin, and closer to center ball generates more speed.

Not getting draw on the cue ball is the trick to this shot. Any draw or follow slows down the cue ball. Looks like he broke Florians record by a couple of seconds. I have tried the spin shot on a carom table before as well. It was not heated but brand new felt and I got 56 seconds. Fun times.
