Fatboy Orange 5

To me, complaining about Matchroom events because you don't like the color of the five ball is the equivalent of complaining about a Mercedes Benz because you don't like the ashtray. To Fatboy's credit, he has toned it down a lot of late on this subject.

I don't play much rotation but when I do, I've played shape for the wrong ball a number of times.
 
there is absolutely no reason to change the color of balls except to show you are above the sport and dominate what goes on.

maybe just for tv it was easier previously, but no longer, to have the colors discernible for the audience but that was it, and that was a failure.
 
The reason why Fatboy has toned it down is he hasn't been logging in for awhile for whatever reason .
As for me it doesn't matter to much what color the 5 ball is but the ashtray if there's a cigarette lighter next to it so, I can plug in a spotlight that's all that matters to me ha ha sorry poor attempt at humor ?

There are multiple ball sets being sold and the companies making them make money by making changes. I know lots of guys that have two and three ball sets just because there all different.

I've seen guys shot the 8 ball in before shooting their last solid or stripe, nothing to do with the color. I've seen guys gambling and play position for a ball that wasnt the next one in sequence, nothing to do with the color...., pressure.
