Diamond table how much did you pay thread..

Glen charged me $500:cool:
It has been a couple of months since I have taken the cover off of the big biotch.
I bought a second house in Denver and have been living down there three days a week since March remodeling.

Just about done, will sell the house soon and hopefully get back to playing and taking care of a few things that have been put on the back burner.

Was delivered 2019 March or April, the day our gov shut the freeway down for covid, and demanded people stay home or be arrested. Dealer left at 4 in the morning to get to my place before 8am when the shutdown started.

Especially considering you were locked in. My pool table is the only thing that stopped me from going stir crazy(er).
 
7K for a 9' Black Diamondwood Pro-Am with light, chairs, cue rack and balls. Spring of 2013 I believe. I hear there is a wait now on a new 9' Pro-Am unless your dealer has one in stock.
 
$6,600 delivered new by Diamond for a 9 foot Pro-Am, cherry finished oak...with pocket shimmed 1/8 of an inch. That was in 2015, and I just had it recovered with Simonis 860 for the first re-covering. I think I waited about 7 months. I'm still playing almost daily on it. Great investment.

I think that’s what I love about diamonds and bar players that play on valleys hate. You almost have to have a big table stroke for them meaning you can’t have that punchy stroke that on a big pocket valley is just fine. If you hit the ball with speed you better hit it smooth or they are definitely going to rattle. Thanks

So the new criteria is that if I own a Gold Crown I must hate in Diamond?? My Gold Crown I has the same cushions and pocket angles as a Diamond, so it looks like one brand and plays more similar to a different brand.
 
8" pro red label... $900.

I had to fix it up a little, so like $1500 all in. I refinished the top rails myself with nitrocellulose laquer, 860, and new rubber.

I've had it like 10 years now. If I ever see any cash again, I'd upgrade to a blue label top and maybe have the slates flattened (they have a little dish to them right now).

... no I didn't steal it. The fox and hound pubs went out of business around here, and I snagged one, and my mover/installer grabbed the rest at that price.

They call them league cut pockets. So honestly it’s a valley with a diamond name on it lol not really. They still play better but still I want the tight pockets. THEY ARE ASKING $6000!! Why the hell would you pay that used!!
To give an example of how crazy the price has gone up a good friend of mine at the super billiards expo bought the used table, diamond light, got the wood rack and a set of super aramith pro’s delivered for $3500. That was most likely close to 15 years a go if my memory serves me correct. My best friend got a 9 footer bought and delivered from New York for I believe $3000 but that gentlemen was desperate to move it so he go it at a steal. I honestly don’t know of any modern tables holding their value like this. any other tables you can get used for pennies on the dollar And because of that I never thought I would buy a table New.

So the question if you don’t mind me asking gentlemen is when did you get your diamond and how much did you pay?

Just to add I’m not hating on diamond.. if people want to pay it that’s the market in a free market society it just amazes me is all.

In 2010, Red label 7 ft Dymondwood $3600.00 plus $700.00 delivery and set up. Milwaukee to Detroit , Charlie D
 
I don't remember the year-soon after the blue label came out.I paid $5,675 delived and set up in Ohio
