Happened across this old memory.

Was a crazy time and there is plenty of evidence suggesting the building was cursed after that date (though perhaps is was the completely dumb architectural design.

Well, sad is not the word to use for the perpetrator, in my opinion, when people commit crimes for money, especially violence, it is Criminal; let's reserve the word sad for the victims of such crime. Somebody DIED here- it was the victim - the criminal was allowed to live- now that is SAD to me!
 
In other social media communities try to solve crimes.

My cousin was murdered, also stabbed to death, and her murders remain alive. I do not believe in sentence of less than life for any convicted murder. When the evidence is indisputable, I believe 100% in the death penalty. The scum should be eliminated from the Earth.

It is. I was with the staff that opened the joint (retail side, not pool room side) and it was damn amazing when new.

Went progressively downhill with each subsequent tenant and IMO was only in the hands of a single competent owner- Bill Stephen- after doug kelly stepped back from a role other than landlord.

It also saves a lot of wasted resources keeping them alive and healthy in prison. It's basically a free lifetime room and board with healthcare and education, just in a restricted space. There are many homeless people that would not mind getting even half the benefits prisoners get. While the criminal systems of 100+ years ago are certainly not as well done as they are now, I think the worse treatment of prisoners was the correct thing to do, depending on the crime. If you are out there killing people, you should be in a hole eating stale bread, if even kept alive. No one is very afraid of committing crimes since the punishment is often easy to deal with if you even get convicted.

I didnt think there could be another building like that. Yes-All the Champions were nice in the early 2000's. I assume Beenies is gone also?

Been a long time since I've been there and I do recall it there around 5 old guy years (aka could be 10+yrs) ago.
