How do these diamond tables play so badly? vid

That is bizarre, it looks like he hit the shot with reverse english. I play in a league with all Diamond 9 and 7 foot tables, both red label and blue label, none of them bank like that. I have a Diamond 8 foot Pro Am at home and it doesn't bank anything like that.

I'm a 650. I promise you this is hit with center follow

I'd like to hear from someone who knows wtf they are talking about. A table mechanic, diamond rep, etc. because these tables are screwed up. Not trying to argue about other things here
I agree, that table is screwed up somehow.

Cobra is the guy to explain the table… post Ask a Mechanic

Notice that as well, but not enough to be that short... After the second rail, it was nearly straight back...lol
I know of 2 rooms with red and blue 7’ tables right next to each other. I’d challenge anyone to notice a difference if the red/blue logo was covered up. One is a pool room in South Jersey. One is a bar in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Video. Looks short to begin with. If the cue struck closer the 2nd diamond it would have been more accurate. Looks a little high where hit on the rail.
If I shoot it exactly like that on the gold crown it scratches dead center pocket. From the corner or the side. Diamonds play shorter but not that damn short. That table is fk'd.
