If '575 and under must have 800 games min in Fargo', how many games do those over 575 need?
It's also hilarious that they trust Fargo ratings but refuse to believe Fargorates robustness threshold.
Over 575 not allowed. This is happening all over the country now. Tournaments are being capped so no one good can play. And the 800 robustness doesn't mean they don't believe in it, they just want the ratings of the players entering their big money tournament to be set in stone. It's easier to create a manipulated rating with fewer games.

Greg is a good player. It was a league match, race to 1, and I got lucky. I didn't mean that no one under 575 fargo is "good". I probably should have said "better players". Yes, I'm higher than a 650, and I just get cranky when I only get to play in 1 out of every 50 tournaments around here, and 99% of those are handicapped. I'm not a favorite to beat a lot of players around here, I just want to play. Don't mind me, just frustrated.who won?

Being a short stop sucks. My 725 is useless. I can't play these tournaments and i'm not good enough to win a pro tournament or even cash out.

It's just a natural condition. My Fargo rate peaked at 630 back when the northwest regional in Lincoln City were a vacation trip for us. Let's see the Plaque says.was he sandbagging to keep his rating?

That was at a time that I was still working full time.
That was my first Trophy at that event. A win in Senior division required a sit out of that division and eligible as an A player. So my schedule kept me from playing again until I was eligible to play the Seniors 8 ball. I won it. Then played as an A the next 9 ball event and landed 4th. That kicked me up to the Masters. My one memorable match in masters 8 ball on the 7' Diamonds with Kenny Dodd. A race to 6 that at 3-3 Ken broke and ran then ran again after I broke dry. He then broke and ran to his key ball, which he hung with bih shape on the 8. I won! He and I both were rated in the low 600s at the time.
I have no reason to sandbag the rating system as 1st place money in those type events only offsets part of the cost of the vacation. Plus this post is evidence that my ego is fragile enough for me to crave a higher rating.
I think I can, I think I can still play to that level in The Big Show.
