Yes, in one, winner played well, but also got every single roll that could possibly be gotten. Plus, his opponent collapsed, as well. We'll see if Jayson gets that many rolls, and a soft opponent in this set.

i think it's a soft(er) opponent, considering the year albin's had, or year and a half. jayson slight favorite

Albin looked dead in the water vs SVB. Now he's about to win the whole thing. Similar to how SVB mounted a huge comeback against Mika in the 2022 W9B and went on to win it.
 
Earlier in the broadcast Karl said Albin was known as a hot head and easy to get under his skin when he was coming up, and that he's mellowed a lot over the years.

Yes, awesome that Shaw even attempted it. And funny to think of Shaw practicing these sorts of shots at home for the 1-in-a-million chance they come up in a game.

One thing I've liked about this tournament is how respectfully into the games the crowd is. It seems most tournaments are either morgues or insane asylums (Mosconi Cup). I'm loving the oohs and aahs and cheers from an obviously focused and knowledgeable crowd. It really gets me into the action moreso than other streams I watch.
 
9-10 Shaw behind and breaking

This could be heading towards hill hill final like the Spanish Open and European Open earlier this year and we know how much high drama is hill hill:LOL:
