Using art without permission and without giving credit is 100% bullshit. There is too little protection for minor artists as it is, an international company stealing images is not helping
It speaks volumes about diamond that they are too cheap to stage their own media photos. Do they think so little of their product that the best they can do is cruise the web to find a photo of their own damn table?
In a parallel story, for those who don't feel this is wrong: An artist I know had a friend who was regionally known. This artist painted a picture of some puppies in a wooden Budweiser crate. Cutest damn thing, if you're into that, very Norman Rockwell. The artist made a run of prints and sent an early print, or the original to the AB company. In reply, they sent back a very generous, heartfelt cease-and-desist letter with a threat of a lawsuit.

I didn’t shit on him for having an issue. I just said I don’t give things like that a thought. if it was how I made my living I’m sure I would.
not All pictures are art lol but I didn’t say I didn’t say he shouldn’t have a problem with it. I’m just pretty passive about stuff like this. Life is to short. Now if it was my job and people were stealing from me then I’m sure I would feel different
My photo issue is resolved in a professional way as expected. Also as expected, Diamond didn't steal the picture but got it given to them by someone else who they assumed had the ok to use it. Anyway pretty much what I figured all along. This post is over.

I'd bet they didn't get permission from anyone. Their brand new site has video of professional matches, and still pictures. It is what it is.
The site redesign is nice in general. Someone missed the mark completely on the Smart Table page. Nowhere does it even say that it's a coin operated table with a regular CB, which is its main and unique feature.
I also see they have teamed up with Manning and when you go to the "store" it takes you to his page, which makes it seem like it's Diamond directly but it's not. His page also has Diamond Tables in the URL.
