Who are your top ten players in the last decade?

Is Alex playing Filler, Shaw, Fedor, Shane, FSR, Kaci, KO's, Chang JL, Raga, Yapp, or Biadofor $$$ in 9 or 10 ball? That's more than 10 right there
None of them were playing him in 2013 though...

Man bet 40k on himself to WIN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS...and pulled it off.

He is the baddest cat out there, a lion, in fact!

svb, shaw, orcollo, chang, feijen, pags, souquet, busta, chohan (most exciting 1 P player )

svb is # 1 playing winner break 10B

Weren't thoursten hohmann and Niels feijen still playing top of there game back then.
And SVB.

I don't know how you could argue with this list here. I would probably include Filler because of how dominant he has been since turning pro.

Well said. SVB, Alex, Orcullo...at one time they would get down on their belly and play every game from bar table to one pocket...I wonder if MR, with the proposed hectic tourney schedule, has killed the era of challenge matches that TAR ushered in....
Yes, Filler has been awesome for nearly a decade - before he turned pro 7 years ago. He was beating up on top pro players even as a junior!

I see video suggestions for recent matches on YouTube but don't watch them.

Imma go with just fine...mostly for my own peace of mind!
I watched him playing a small money game at my local hall (for him it's small - I think $1000 a set) after he was knocked out of the China open. Awesome guy, and had a great chat with him (and also enjoyed watching him tie up another pro in knots playing 10-ball... kicking out of safeties to play other safeties or pot... doing phillipino things...)

The fat wad of RMB he had in an envelope suggested he's been doing well, as did his general tone and conversation. I helped him get a taxi using Didi APP (as he thought he could just stand outside and hail one down at 1am :ROFLMAO: - he gave it a good try! haha) to the deepest depths of the city - as he was staying by the airport. Was great chatting with someone who has that level of experience. Told some amazing stories, gave some amazing advice. Seemed pretty down to earth about playing and his options in the future. Doesn't seem too bummed out about not being allowed into the US. Didn't feel too bad about losing an hour and a half of my life in the taxi lol
If ya can't beat em, then bar em....lololol
It really does seem to come across that way from what he said lol

How is Orculli getting along these days? He can't play in the US I heard, bummer
I'd also asked him about 'choking' or missing easy balls (as he watched me miss an absolute dolly of a game ball in the same evening) - I'd asked him before I'd seen the video of that miss against Raga, and since I have understood his reaction lol
At the time, he just laughed, and said 'yeah I've blown it a few times before' :ROFLMAO: and I found it odd, as he had so many insightful things to say about many other things before that.

Enjoyed your input. Pretty cool to stand next to on of the greats of our day, isn't it?

He's just a regular guy in a lot of ways.

Honestly, the times I have come across great players here, I mentally become a child again... :ROFLMAO: (was the same when I used to work in the skateboard industry... bumping into people you grew up idolizing, or talking nonsense about with your friends in the 'real world')

Absolutely, it was nice to just chat with the guy for a while. When you see people outside of the context of a screen, or matchplay, it's refreshing to see the 'real' side. I think we often forget that, as we spend our whole time watching, talking about or scrutinizing these pros.

Got some cool photos (I actually photobombed my friends photo before I realized it was Orcullo he was taking a photo with! they take so many selfies here, thought he was just being vain haha It's actually one of my favorite photos I've taken while living here) - If I remember later when I have a minute I'll post them.

This was before I recognized him :ROFLMAO: (my dumb ass in the back lol)- I also have a couple photos of him kicking ass. Just included the one, as I can't be bother to edit out faces.

Hmm, 2013-2023

I'd put Shane #1 by far. The rest in random order

Dennis
Busty
Biado
Big Ko
Little Ko
Chang Jung Lin
Albin
Filler didn't come on until 2018, but he's won enough since then to be on the list
Shaw

Wu: No, he was not really active those years
Alex: No, I feel he fell off, and/or played a lot less these years
Neils: I think he was falling off these years also

Alex has won some 1P tournaments, not sure about rotation games.
Quickly from Wiki. Not to say this is the end all.
