With all due respect to Mr. Wanderone; I’ve enjoyed hours of his recorded matches….but this cue deserves a spot here. That said, it has a brass pin surprisingly.

That's like the "Nailed It" version of my current player.
There's a reddit sub for "awful taste, but great execution"... that brings to mind a cue the infamous deanoc had made by PFD that he showed me. It had the most glorious inlays... of mickey mouse with a word bubble that said "show me the cheese".

Totally agree here.
Some understated beauties, some garish, disgusting 'artworks' out there. I am not a fan of a lot of the more elaborate designs. Give me a beautiful piece of wood over complex 'design' any day.

Some Ginacues look like shit. Too damn gaudy and looks from a different time period. If it wasn't laced with all that ivory nobody would pay attention. There are nice ones that I like but I think most people know what I'm talking about. You can dig up some pics and see for yourself.
Blackboar a company that I like also makes some of the most shittiest looking cues. Their designs are great but sometimes less is more. Vollmer makes a great combination of balance as for comparison since he was the apprentice. Again, dig up pictures and you will see the gaudy ones versus the less gaudy. Less gaudy tend to by my favorites.
Again, these could be customer creations I'm talking about here. There are idiots who actually hire great cuemakers but give them their shit designs to make. You don't tell Picasso to paint your interpretation. You hire Picasso to paint a Picasso.
