I appreciate your help with finding the value of this cue. I am the second owner of this cue.
I have the original invoice for the cue and one for the second shaft.

The cue was made in 2000

You can probably get quite a bit for such a nice Scruggs. Is it the good stuff? (Looks like it might be to me) I would pay a pretty penny for a Scruggs that sweet.

Fantastic cue I have seen It... I believe it's a 3/8 10 flat face steel joint ... all inlays look to be Ivory... Excellent condition..

It looks in excellent condition.
What is the overal length of the cue with the longest shaft? Is that 57 1/4"?

Is the joint collar steel or white?

Length hurts the value. In years past, 57" was common. Now it seems 58" in the minimum and longer only adds value. If it was 58", my opinion would be 4.2K. At 57", my opinion is 3.3K.

Again, that's just my opinion, I don't own a blue book or anything like that. I believe I'm close though. Beautiful cue!

Worth quite a bit if there was a certificate of authenticity. Something all cues should come with. This is 2024 and all. It’s very easy to counterfeit these cues. Scruggs sneaky?

As for the ivory it may drop the value of these cues because it is illegal to go across state lines according to the law a few years back and the ginacue thing. Essentially selling an ivory cue is very similar to what happened to Ernie. Then again some sellers and buyers don’t care.

It can be over 3k or it can be 1.5k.

Thank you guys for your comments.

The cue with the longer shaft, butt cap and tip measures 58.0"
The cue with the Butt cap and the longer shaft measures 57 13/16"
The cue without the butt cap and without the tip measures 57 1/2"

Concerning the inlays and ivory, I am not an expert. In a very dark room I compared the Scruggs to several of my other cues that I know are not ivory. The Scruggs shined much whiter and brighter. Hope this helps.

You're not supposed to measure the rubber bumper or the tip. Also, I'm pretty sure all the inlays are ivory.

Nice looking TS cue with nice inlays. Cue is in the $3k range give or taker a few hundred assuming everything rolls straight.

What was the retail (out of curiosity)? I bought a brand new one from a dealer in 1999, with TS98 on the butt cap. I paid $1400 and it was about the same complexity as yours, but different color schemes and inlay shapes. Mine came with 2 ivory tipped shafts.

To me, all the inlays and the trim rings look like ivory, while the butt cap looks like delrin.

I'd put the value at 3k if you want to move it. I think most newer players these days are going the production route with CF shafts, so there are less buyers for the custom cues. IMO:)
