Choice of cushions.....

I have no idea what they're trying to show with the cushion drawing.
It's just that I asked where the mbs cushions could be made and I was told who made them, I know that it's Championship that makes them but where that's something else. In the rasson photo they say that the cushions on their Mr Sung table are made in Taiwan and that they are Championship, maybe MBS. All this to say that surely the same factory in Taiwan supplied the same type of cushion to different resellers, I just asked a question and Rexus31 twisted it on all sides.
May be that the cushions in the link came from the same place then the MBS who know?

Does it matter where they are made? It think you're waaaay overthinking it. You asked for a recommendation, were provided one from a well know, respected contributor who fully endorsed the product, questioned who made the product, were provided with the manufacturer, then voiced concerns over the country of manufacture, posted some nonsense about Rasson's cushions and I'm the one who's twisted it? LMAO! Like RKC said, contact Championship and get a quote. Buy them or don't. It's pretty simple.

You're talking anythings, I asked where the cushions were made not out of concern but to compare them to Han's Delta which are made in Taiwan, you told me who made them and not where they were made and that's not what I asked for. I also asked for MBS sellers, you gave me a seller who only sells 2 felts per order and then you tell me to search on Google, you should know that you are not alone on this forum to be able to answer questions, who is ignorant enough not to Google what he looking for!

Have you checked the black K55 by JnJ or Diamond?
I checked the Black Diamond and they are too expensive for our room, I will send a message to Championship for their MBS and may be to give a try to one of their Tour Edition cloth, if they accept to sell directly that would certainly a good thing some resellers sell the MBS $75..., here in Quebec the manufacturer of our tables and seller of a full line of products Canada Billard is simply incredible in their prices especially in low or mid-range items it is why we have to check elsewhere, Check just for a washer as example, their price and the price of Mueller's:
https://canadabilliard.com/products/mushroom-washer
https://www.muellers.com/Crown-Lock-Washer,1945.html
But at $3.95 the washer is zinc plated😁 even when buying by quantity, the discount is really slim.
Thank You!

Don't know if someone have try it, to fill the half round at back of the cushion with wood dowel a bit like the predator rail, I really want to try it on one table in grooving the rail with a round nose router bit and glueing a maple dowel in the groove.

They're just re-branded.
I bought a set for a friend's GC3 overseas years ago.
1/4th the diamond price.

That's exactly what I think, there are not many big cushion manufacturers in Taiwan, several resellers buy from the same place in Taiwan, Taiwan is also known for making very good cushions, not Artemis or Klematch, but still very satisfactory for a pool room, I also read on the Championship website that they had an office there in Taiwan, probably just importer.

How many tables are you talking about in your pool room?

He said 20 in his initial post.
I have bars with 16+ tables that ask me for a discount when they get them recovered. I ask the bar owner if he discounts the table time when they're all full, or the beer sales after a customer has already bought 2! No, I don't discount for multiple tables when recovering! The costs don't change per table, and the labor is the same per table, so why would I discount MY pay, just to put it in the pocket of the bar owner, for doing nothing to help me get done sooner!!!

We have 21 X 9 foot table and 3 snooker in our pool room, I sent a message to Championship this morning and just received an answer and it is possible to make bisiness directly with them, no one sell their cushions around me. I have a question for you RKC, how can we compare 860 Simonis not the 860HR with the Championship Tour Edition cloth in playability and durability, can the Tour Edition be not a bad choice at all for a pool room, I know that you're mostly a Simonis guy but can you let me know a fair comparaison:), Thank You for the help!

First of all, if you want a comparison, then both cloths need to be 70%wool & 30%nylon. Normal 860 is 90/10. 860HR is 70/30 as is the Championship 3030. Both look good when first installed, but the 3030 unlike the 860HR speeds up the more its worn, while the HR remains pretty consistent. I don't like the burlap sack look of the 3030 as it wears either. Then, if Championship truly believed their 3030 was better than, or at least as good as Simonis, why don't they sell it at the same price point Simonis is, instead of marketing it as just as good, but costs less! Then, everyone that sells cloth, all say it's endorsed by the Pros, like that's suppose to mean something. Then, the 3030 has more stretch in their cloth than any other cloth on the market, which means if you don't know how to correctly install it, it WILL come loose on you!!! But, the same can be said about any other cloths as well. But I'd take Championship 3030 over the Predator cloth any day of the week, so it's not that I don't like the cloth, it's just not my first choice, and yes, I've installed a lot of it over the years.

What about Andy? I have no experience installing it but it plays about as close to Simonis as far as I’ve seen.

Well explained, you find it better than the Predator, it already does that, we're definitely going to try one, I've been asking the owner to switch to the 860HR for a while but now they're BO everywhere, I'll come back to find out how it works stretch, Thank You RKC!

I'm Curious if any of you have used the tournament CBPA cloth and your thoughts on it. I used it for the first time a week ago because of cost difference. Still forming some opinions and of course wear will take time to see.

I definitely agree that the champion stretches a lot.

Is there a way to install it properly so that it doesn't come loose, the Championship. Of course there is the price to consider and also the availability, basically, the best question to ask, which has probably been asked here, would be what would be the best choice apart from Simonis, the 860HR is not available and the 860 is more fragile in a pool room, having 2 or 3 different ones I think we would install them all at the same time to compare them properly.

Question for experienced guys, for my informations, does K66 play as well as K55 on subrail of 1 3/4'' of height? Thanks.
