Maybe you didn't hear about the format, but each player gets to play a minimum of 75 games to see if they advance to the next round. Probably more like 100 to 120 games. I think that's enough.... Races way to short for pro pool.
...
They do yes. Thanks for the thread.
The points carry forward each elimination round, correct?
Has anyone signed up for the scoring site? I'm kind of bummed about the whole thing to be honest. I hate signing up for more crap.
Yep me too, signed up. It’s free and live scores! They do yes.
And I have, I like to check in it's pretty good and it's free and the rankings are much more user friendly than before.
Sorry, but if you’ve never heard of half of the field, then you must’ve just started following pool last month. 14/16 players are >800 FargoI've never heard of half of this field. Where is Biado and Lee Van? Clearly these are among the best players in the world.
I don't care what their Fargo rating is. Look at the results so far. The "unknowns" are getting beaten like a rented mule. That's got to be a David Alcaide impostor. I've never seen him play this badly.Sorry, but if you’ve never heard of half of the field, then you must’ve just started following pool last month. 14/16 players are >800 Fargo
Every single match AND game matters in this format. There will be tons of ties that will come down to individual games won/lost.I really don't like this format.
I prefer an actual tournament where every match matters.
I can see why they have done this though, TV networks love hours of live sport and this format does provide that.
