Too Many Cue Balls Chose…….Do You Have A Favorite?

I have a few sets of Centennials so the Blue Dot Cue Balls are not included in the photo. In all likelihood, I have more cue balls that one could ever need and this doesn’t include my assortment of training cue balls. Nonetheless, I am curious if other readers have a favorite style. I favor the Black Measle Cue Ball or the white version sans any logo or mark. Whata bout U?

red circle and 2 dynaspheres: 1 all white that came with my bronze set and 1 Rhodium that I did the group buy on here. I also have a tournament purple logo aramith that is a little better than the green one when playing on a bar box without the tray open as it works in the cue ball return.

I just want whatever cueball came with the set from the same manufacturer as the object balls. Same formula. Same density. Same size. Same mass. Whatever.

I don’t want to risk a ball that’s lighter or heavier and plays gaffe.
that is what is great about the Dynaspheres sets and individual cue balls. They use the same resin formula for all of their sets.

The measle ball is the best because it gives feedback. You will know whether you got the intended spin on the strike of the cue ball or not by watching the measles. An instructor or onlooker will be able to tell what stroke you used, as well.
I was one of the “group” buyers of the Dynasphere Rhodium cue ball sold here 2 weeks ago by sbrown. I have to agree with Stu that the feedback I am getting from the marked cue ball helps tremendously in understanding what a given stroke is doing or not doing as intended. That, coupled with the use of video is, IMO, one of the surest methods of finding and fixing flaws in one’s stroke as quickly as possible.

Black measle ball. Not super picky about which one. I have the Duramith one, the Predator Arcos (Super Pro), and the Dynasphere Rhodium. I like the triangles, for some reason.
Red circle balls have a cult following around here at the bars when tables are opened. For some reason people think they are amazing.
