Makes perfect sense if you can only use one. When I can go to Safeway and get 3 Blue Cheese's, for $10 or go to another store and get one for $6.79, it makes NO sense to pay double.

I was looking to buy a red dot scope and all the on line sites wanted$65.Some products have pretty tightly controlled MSRP's. If PD was undercutting improperly then Seybert's was in no way running afoul by notifying them. Much ado 'bout nothing really. Used to be in gun/sporting gds. business and stuff like this happened a lot. We nailed a place for under-pricing a named brand scope by a big margin. Manuf. sent a cease/desist order and closed their account.
Hi Roger! I still have that sneaky Pete I bought from you back in the 80s! Hope you're doing okay! Mike Herron.I needed a tip to finish a job. Seyberts got it to me promptly. They weren't the least expensive, but I trust and appreciate their service. Roger Pettit
I'd expect the seyberts people in the office had a good laugh before taking another call. What did you expect?
Not knocking Bushnell, i've owned a few, but the scope in question was a hi-dollar Leupold. They weren't real happy and pulled that shops dealership.I was looking to buy a red dot scope and all the on line sites wanted$65.
I found an E bay seller that wanted $47 and that's where I bought it.
It was a Bushnell scope.
OP should post-up a screenshot hahaI got curious/bored and just asked Seyberts. They said they'd never do anything like that. Said they have no control over what others do nor do they care.
I bought it for my Smith & Wesson foldable 9MM carbine. Not knocking Bushnell, i've owned a few, but the scope in question was a hi-dollar Leupold. They weren't real happy and pulled that shops dealership.

Sometimes I genuinely forget this is mostly used by Americans... and then I remember,
This looks like something out of a video game.

Hi-dollar Leupold. Why the redundancy? Not knocking Bushnell, i've owned a few, but the scope in question was a hi-dollar Leupold. They weren't real happy and pulled that shops dealership.
I shot a couple of different guns when I was living in Montana. It was a bit surreal to me at first, but understandable in the contexts my friends explained (protection from wild animals, and criminals basically). My friend's attitude to ownership was more cautious and serious than some other people I met there. Personally, I did not like how shooting big guns made me feel. But I had a bit of fun shooting handguns, which was a bit of a novelty to me at the time.Yeah it gives me a little more firepower than my two .380 handguns.
We in 'MURICA like our guns.
They have various lines as you well know. Some are WAY more expensive than others.Hi-dollar Leupold. Why the redundancy?
Great glass, best warranty, period.
And yes, they protect their reputation and image (no pun intended) very seriously.
Have "loop-olds" on all my rifles.
