2024 World Pool Championship

8-10 after a nice bank and long shot, both at warp speed. could still go all the way, but soufi's break hasn't been as good

Shane down 4-2 and struggling big time. He looks like he can't run three balls right now.

agreed. how many filipino expats live in saudi? half million? i'm sure if they made it cheaper to attend that would go a ways to solve the problem. i only see sheikhs, half lying in their seats
Agree, but many of those Filipinos will be "foreign workers" with one day off a week (I'm guessing either Friday or Saturday) rather than "expats" on big contracts. I think MR needs to find a way of filling some of the "cheapseats" and accommodating those who are happy to pay through the nose. It will also be a struggle to get non-hardcore pool fan "western" and East Asian expats through the door if they can't have a few beers off screen between matches.

Tha said, it's a start - it's finally big money if you go deep, and Saudi Arabia is opening up in many ways. Well, I could be wrong but I'm hoping we will see bigger crowds in the next few years.

nineball. & WNT are MR's logo's for pool. why is no 'MR' logo odd?

Because most people probably don't know that.

But I did see in a picture Jam posted earlier that they do have a Matchroom logo on the side banner.

Down 4-6 Shane has a chance to get back in it, over draws off the 5 to get on the 6, then miscues almost jumping the cue ball off the table. 7-4
