The number of table lights is mind boggling. Reminds me of the lighting aisle at Lowes. What my mind keeps going to is how much more is there that's not pictured. Is this just a "furniture store" or did they sell "all things billiards"? What's it look like Garczar? Anyone?

Just a big billiards supply. Been in biz over 40yrs apparently and they have a ton of shit to unload.

You never know how deep the prices will be cut, but if it is a serious liquidation, this could be epic. If I lived anywhere near it, I'd be there when the doors opened next Friday. Actually, if I lived close enough, I would go today because . . .

I bought a Viking cue there in the early 80’s. They had a beautiful building in downtown Elmhurst before they moved to their current location.
Most of the old school pool retail stores have closed in the Chicago area. Some other Southside stores that are now gone are Hansons, Dixie and Minnesota Fats.

We are living in a very sad state of affairs. Another nail in the coffin of pool as I knew it. The fact that the owners were not able to sell these as going concerns is the proof in pudding.

My greatest sadness, however, is my sense that we are losing elements of our sport with no prospect of return. I realize that this implicates far greater issues than just pool, but pool is where it hits me in the gut.
