Looking for to have a cue wrapped..interested in a replacement leather wrap..or a leather lace stacked wrap..who do you guys recommend?

whoever you use make sure you get a firm ish date for its return and dont do business with those that keep a cue for months or years and not do any work.
proficient billiards comes to mind as my pick.

I’ve seen cues in person before and after being refinished by Proficient Billiards.

My reputation as a pain in the ass critic is well known locally and to some degree,
even on this Forum. I look for the minutia in cue workmanship and although the
task of refinishing is not equal to actually building the cue, it requires equivalent
skills to render a “like new” impression. As I mentioned, I’ve seen Proficient’s work.

Folks, I tried to find fault with their workmanship and I wasn’t able to unless I lied.
If I couldn’t get Mr. Owen to work on one of my cues, then I’d use Proficient Billiards.
That’s how much I was impressed with the before & after results with other pool cues.

The other thing worth mentioning is I’ve been around this Forum awhile and down thru
the years I’ve enjoyed being a member, I’ve never read a disparaging remark about PB.

Now that’s not anything to dismiss lightly. I’m sure there had to be some mistakes over
the years but none escalated to this forum. And customers can be buttholes at times. So
all in all, Proficient Billiards rates a thumbs up from me based upon my pool instincts.

I've only used two places to have about a half dozen cues leather wrapped over recent years, Proficient Billiards and Seyberts. Both places did flawless work with quick turnaround times.

Call Proficient and or Seyberts...to discuss what you want w/ estimates & time frames.

I used Cody because he's probably the straightest-shooting businessman i've ever dealt with. Does fantastic work at fair prices and he's basically in my back yard. Didn't want to ship cue 700mi away to get work done.

the only reason to go with PB over Cody is turnaround. Cody is swamped making cues and refurb work is slowing down.

I need to get on his make list...
