You ever buy a cue you found horrid looking but played so well, you said fuggit?

Here's one I had ..met the ugly requirement but played horribly.

And some of you will recall my consistent and deep disdain for turquoise in cues. Same for floating points...played an hour with this one and had to have it. Mine now.

'Fugggit'. The rest of you will have to look at it!

The second one isn’t ugly IMO. Not my first choice but not awful. That first one though…. That is the ugly stick itself. I don’t have and don’t think I will ever have a cue that can compete with that one.

That second cue looks like the tattoo a bunch of bros got in the early 2000's by picking it off the wall at the tattoo shop

Who are the makers? i'll venture a guess that the first cue was a custom order which someone who was trippin placed with a quality maker ( TASC, SCRUGGS?)

The second cue is interesting
 
i put a purple tennis sports wrap in my predator sneaky
plays jam up
dgaf how it looks just how it feels

actually i think the purple wrap looks sweet lol

Diveney on top. Wish I had a pic of the handle, ebony with elephant diamonds. Elephant joint too.

Longoni on bottom.

funny how preferences change, 50/60 years ago i preferred blondes, then for decades i liked brunettes, now a brunette with heavy silver (natural) highlights

during the 80's Thomas Wayne was one of a few who was embellishing cues with designs which were the precursor to the Longoni which i thought were the cat's meow, now i gravitate towards simpler cues that feature unique wood assembled by makers who pay attention to detail.

That said, i like cue #1 the more i look at it ( could be having a flashback)

Brunettes for me...always been.

And I wish I still had cue1, based on looks alone coz I didn't like the ivory joint.
