Predator cues w/ radial pins

I’ve had a uniloc for 22 years. The original BK1 break cue. It has never loosened up or given me any trouble once. I do clean it with alcohol and a cue-tip once in a while.

2 years ago I switched all my playing cues from custom to Predator butts with Revo shafts, and Uni-loc. Zero issues with those 3 cues as well.

I wonder if a butt that is only made off solid Ebony would be as consistent as P3 butt ? Anyone have experienced it yet ?
Not good idea. A butt of solid ebony would be REALLLLY heavy unless you cored the shit out of it. The butt plays a very small part in how a cue hits/feels/plays. Some think its a bigger part but imo its the shaft meaning the material, the taper, the ferrule, the tip that really determines the hit. The joint is a non-factor as well. Blind tests have proven that players cannot identify a cue from the joint.

Yeah, I was a little unsure about the whole UniLoc thing going in but having had my setup for a while with UniLoc on all cues, I too have never once had an issue. Goes together really quick, stays tight, comes apart just fine when you're done. I actually kinda wish the Panthera line was available in UniLoc, at this point given the choice I'd stick with it probably.

Seconded. I like the UniLoc for ease, but don't really care much. I just like all my cues using the same joint so everything is interchangeable.
I wish the Blak series were UniLoc, but my wallet is glad they are not.... 🙃
