It's been a long time (25 years) since I played snooker/pool and this Saturday I'm gonna give it a go and play in a 9-ball tournament. I'm definately not ready but willing to step out and give it a shot. My break is OK ,banks are good, kicks are decent and have an idea on playing safe. I have no idea how this outing will go but will try my current best.

Since they’ve been messing with how pool balls look. …..make sure you’re shooting in numerical order, Georgy.

It’s sounds like you’re ready , kicks banks ,safes. Let’s just hope you don’t actually have any straight shots then! Good luck

My break is OK

3 ball is a good way to practice the break. Precision is more important than power. 3 ball gives good feedback on the accuracy of the strike.

Well attempt that can lead to some interesting interactions. A favorite occurred in the men's room, as I stood at the urinal. My cue was out of splash range leaning against the wall. Still in peripheral as I am survival trained. His hand touched it and I simply stated, "You have ahold of more than you want to Fuck With." He released and slid into the closed toilet stall. There he remained an eternity. Oh I just made sure to identify, then report to mgmt. They didn't care.

On second thought, he had. The cue half way to the stall by the time I finished my statement. It went back real fast.

Another less humorous incident had my wife's cue broken down and in his case at tournament on North Hill near Tacoma. They were from Bonny Lake. Simple mistake
