Pool hall pictures

I visited my son in Valdosta Georgia when he was stationed there, They had a place called Major Lynes Shoe Repair and pool room , we went there on a saturday night and I foolishly took my wife with me, I got there and realized it was not safe for her, hell I would go in anywhere, but taking her was not good, so we went back the next morning early to take a pic ,I will try to find it lol, talk about sketchy.

Moody AFB… been there a few times in my career. They used to call Bemiss road outside the front gate the Valdosta 500…

That story reminds me of when I was stationed at Lowery AFB in Denver the early 80s And my mother and father came to visit. Chewy Rivera steered my dad to a bar just off of Colfax & Federal. It would not have been a problem if it was just my dad and me but not with my mom. I remember my dad was playing on a bar table and I got his attention and gave him a look that he knew I was telling him it was time to roll out.

The building is still alive and well. I think it is a nice restaurant and possibly a brewery.

Vintage cue rack, Chicago

This was found at an estate sale in the Chicago area. There was a vintage ball rack with it also. I had to disassemble it to get it home. After some light restoration I reassembled and got it hung on the wall. Garden City Billiard Table co is on the top. I suspect that that was added from a...
