Which way do you play this shot part 2 (tribute)

The other how would you play this shot drew some really great answers.

You are stripes, and you need to make the 13, and somehow get shape on the 8 to win.

How would you navigate this difficult table?

Thin cut on the 13, with low right. This puts the cue behind the 3. From there, I 3 rail kick the 8 in, and follow it in with the cue ball. You may think that it would be difficult to scratch behind the 8, but I'm just that good.

I would remove all chalk off my tip, close my eyes, and jump the 13 in with my full cue one handed leaving the cue ball in the jaws for perfect position.
Then pocket the 8 one handed behind my back blindfolded while singing Maggie May and taking all bets from the birds.

It seems simple on the surface, but this is a fine example of how a good player and a great player differ.

One might think he's a lock to make the 13 and then 8, but there is an interesting opportunity here to ensure the win: You must make 13 and send the cue ball into that cluster gently, tying up those solid balls... just in case.

Thin the 13 as much as possible. Load the CB up with inside, and assume there's no way I could possibly sewer in the side pocket along the top long rail.

You guys are a bunch of rank amateurs. I am pretty sure that I can make the 13 with a stiff half ball hit, scratch in the side rail first off of the 3, and open up that cluster so solids has a pretty easy BIH runout. 🤣🤣

Better to overcut the 13 and load up with right to go into cluster, just to be safe. Plus, if the numpty playing solids lets us back in, we probly have a tough 13 sitting near middle of the short rail that we can find a 2 rail scratch off of.

But I had to make the 13 to scratch in the side so I only need to scratch on the 8 if he lets me back in.
