Buying from Amazon / Ebay

Saw a couple of good deals for Aramith balls. Just wondering if any of you guys have ever bought from Billiard.city or sunshinehutbilliards.com on Amazon or EBay.

Both of them have eBay/Amazon store fronts with really good deals on damaged packaging Aramith balls but wondering if they are legit? They have good reviews but mostly short reviews or just ratings with no input.

Are the balls damaged or just the packaging?
How much is a good deal?
Here are the main ones that I was looking at. Supposedly box is sealed and saving quite a bit of money. Do you think it’s legit?

Both E-bay & Amazon use/host THIRD PARTY SELLERS, they are just like a Third party store for sellers to offer item to buyers. Both have long history of selling knockoff & counterfeit items. Or item that are not represented truthfully concealing damage.

There are a few things you can do, one is check sellers rating or and see if their are any or few complaints. If a seller has 1,000 Five Star Rating and 7 On e Start Rating they are still in my personal safe to deal with zone.

Second if you decide to buy anything, make a copy of the AD, Item Description (Screen SHOT) and last Photos of item offered..

Last use a Credit Card, even if it is PayPal, as should you be dealing with low life scoundrel, thief, or crook, your Credit Card Company can and will help you with recovering funds if fraud happens.

Forum Member John Barton, DBA JBCases has been target of fraudsters cloning his Name, Photos, Selling Ball Set, Team Chalk, John don’t sell. I had seen what I thought was Barton Ad for Pool Balls on AZPoolPlayer FakeBook, I thought John was selling CHEAP ARAMITH BALL SETS. He laughters when I called him to ask sold out. He replied with what he is fighting every week, people pretending to be JBCases..

For the most part both E-bay & Amazon only care about their commission on sale. Not the buyer. But if you get taken on Ebay or Amazon you can report so maybe they will boot seller. MAYBE?

Deal seems too good to be true, chance is it is not too good to be really true. Do your home work, be careful, even AZB
Fourm has had some BAD SELLERS.

Take a chance and save $50.
Since these balls can last forever and you could possibly spend hundreds of hours using them, is it really worth it?

I have bought a few items from SunshineHutBilliards and I would not hesitate to buy from them again. Good transactions every time I have purchased from them.

This and post #4 is all you need to know here. Buy them. If there are damaged balls inside, surely you'd be able to get a refund, right?

Billiard City is top notch in my book. I recently acquired a used pool table that needed a rebuild. I bought my Artemis cushions, Simonis cloth and some cushion facings from them. Fast shipping and a great transaction. Where they shined is, I decided to use a thicker facing and needed to return the ones I bought. No problem. Then the Simonis started getting the "Fuzz" from a bad batch of cloth. I reached out to Simonis and they had me contact Billiard City since they are a Simonis dealer. They replaced the cloth in less than a week no issues at all. Fantastic customer service and products.

Buy with confidence.

When you are looking at things like that you really need to keep the seller in mind more then the item.

I bought that exact set from billiard.city on ebay. The package was damaged but the balls were fine. no issues.

Also i am fairly certain that ebay offers free returns from that seller and item.
