Took the words right out of my mouth. I bought one of these, Dante II they called it, for $349 2 years ago. Don't ask me why.
They're all made in the same factory complex in China.
That goes in front of the auto pilot!!
They mention that they're aware of Konllens' business practices on their website. It's all marketing, sports fans. Just read the fine print on where the cues are manufactured, if you can find it.

Let me see if I can find the exact post. JFlowers seemed to imply they were 'counterfeiting' JFlowers product. I remember thinking how funny it was that two Chinese companies were locking heads over such an issue lol
I also saw in some WeChat groups, that there is some counterfeiting of other reputable brands to be aware of - Predator (specifically BKRush which have a huge mark up here), Mezz (specifically the PBKai and some of their playing cues) and even some high-end custom cue makers,

Oh yeah. But I think if you dig into the konllen/flowers rivalry or whatever you wanna call it, you'll figure out what's going on. Brilliant marketing strategy imo.

1. FlakeandDrum's posted at #28 a tweet or Xcretion. Are you confident it is really a J-Flowers' tweet?
2. Regarding Mensabum's post about J-Flowers' website, I could not find this discussed on the J-Flowers' website.
3. Iusedtoberich reviewed on YouTube a Konllen cue that had a Konllen case, a Konllen butt, a J-Flowers shaft, and papers showing a Konllen cue with a J-Flowers shaft. See below for the model JFlo-12 on the cue's papers.
The YouTube video is three years old of the Konllen/J-Flowers cue bought on Amazon. Compare this to last year's J-Flowers' tweet alerting all to Konllen fakes. Surely, J-Flowers knew of this before last year---notification of the possible bogus-Konllen Amazon sales were on YouTube.

Cheap CF Shaft?
Using a predator revo currently, but want to try some cheaper carbon fiber shafts. The three options are: JFlowers, Rhinos, Konllen. JFlowers default cf shaft is the priciest among the 3. Is it worth the price difference? Which cf cue y'all recommend from these 3?

this is not uncommon. i've gotten that from chinese trade partners at my job, that someone jumped ship and started their own operation, "don't trust their product" etc.
very possible konllen and jflowers were made in the same company to begin with. jflowers got hold of a bigger piece of the market and they split, then konllen probably tried to capitalize on jflowers brand.
i do believe jflowers have done more R&D and may be the better shaft. morris, orcullo and strickland were involved, which is why the shaft is called SMO.

JFlowers put effort into building a specific brand by buying the JFlowers name. JFlowers brags about this on its website.
It warns on its website about buying a JFlowers cue on Amazon that is not necessarily a JFlowers-approved product unless seller states he is a authorized and official dealer (Iusedtoberich bought a cue with a JFlowers shaft on Amazon).
This helps to prevent confusion among consumers and protects the reputation of the genuine “JFlowers” brand – not to be confused with certain others operating on Amazon, Alibaba, Facebook, and other similar platforms. The only authorized dealer(s) on any platform will clearly state that they are in fact authorized and official dealers. Feel free to contact us if in doubt.

I just went on their site and it appears that the new 2025 update does not list that j flowers is aware of konllen selling their cues. I only saw some generic crap about beware of fakes, etc... So that has been removed. I did however find a used J flowers/konllen cue 4 sale on eBay 5 mins ago.
That SMO is a nice shaft. I wouldn't pay $499 for one tho.
Joasen or something like that. Who in turn is owned by a larger sporting goods manufacturing conglomerate. It's all on the new 2025 site upgrade.
