BUTTERFLY EFFECT CHALLENGE - fullsplice cue for donation

, I meant as I wrote - July 2022, 100$ donation for Butterfly Effect Challenge which gets me the cue, still waiting for the cue.
There is a mistake and you should have received your cue earlier. I ordered mine on May 9, 2024 and got it July 15, 2024.

I asked if it could be with uniloc quick release joint, and possibly an extension, instead of the shaft, since I planned to use this butt with my Revo shaft and didn't need the wooden shaft, maybe that is the reason for longer wait, I don't know....

FYI, same here; from the get-go in 2022, requested just a butt w/uniloc, no shaft. Haven't heard anything, but that's ok.

I donated in Feb 2024 and still have no cue as well. Seems folks that "order" their cue instead of "donating" are getting their cues at least. Like freds said I can't complain too much since it is for a good cause.

Is there such a thing as a joint protector for that?
There are two types of Shuriken joints. Here is a nice joint protector for one of the joints.

Still patiently waiting for mines, donation was made in May of 2022. But haven’t received any communicaton like everyone else have here.

have you emailed him? sometimes he responded to me, sometimes not. I got two cues from him and have two friends who each got one. the plain jane sneaky, which play pretty darn good.

I did reach out once in 2023. Havent heard back so I’m just playing the waiting game.

Thanks Anton, I received cue #74 over the weekend, looks nice! Interesting bumper.

#225 above:

"'From a message I got from Anton: 'The joint is not Quick Release. It is our standard metric M6 joint we came up from years of experience'"

That's cool man. When did you make the donation? Just curious as I made a donation back in October and still no cue. Have you hit with it?

Oh I donated much longer ago, when it first came out; maybe 2 years back. I think it might have been delayed because I'd requested uniloc, not sure. Anyway yes, I tried it out, feels good. It's 60", a bit over 19 oz. There's no clear coat; the finish is very smooth, almost bare wood? It's got a very hard tip, which plays fine.

Im also wondering about the finish now.

I think it is -or is similar to- an oil rubbed finish.

I prefer this over the glossy lacquer used by most makers today.

Not the first or last time someone will make a buck off one of my ideas -- but school colors, alone or added, are needed. Hell, LSU boys may not be able to read and write, but they can always recognize purple and gold.

Shuriken cues are far nicer than the crap ones Justin showed.

NOT COMPARABLE ITEMS at all
