Really the best video I’ve seen so far for all the Brunswick fans.,The Brunswick guy (Nick Baron, President of the Brunswick Billiards Group) sounds really candid and like knows what' he's talking about. That's a very good sign.
As said in the other thread , the cushions are made by Artemis but are a slightly different design and only fit the GC7i posted the video in the other thread and also asked this question
this has probably been posted on a prior page
but have not gone thru the whole
question for the crowd
in the video the brunswick rep says just for the gc vll the cushions are artemis not superspeed
does that make them play short like the diamonds
and or does the gc vll have the rail angle/height etc set like the diamond table?

You’re gonna have to play on it to find out. Loli got that
but how do they play?
like a brunswick?
or
like a diamond?
No.It's cool, but it ain't $12.5k cool.
Diamond will always be the benchmark.i posted the video in the other thread and also asked this question

What does a 9 foot diamond or rasson cost? I really don’t know. I paid $6700 installed for my 7 foot diamond about 2 years agoIt's cool, but it ain't $12.5k cool.
with regards to your first statement aboveDiamond will always be the benchmark.
Every table brand there is will always be...... does it play like a Diamond -or- how do they play compared to a Diamond.
Brunswick cost is going to deter a lot of people and pool rooms who recently bought a bunch of Diamonds.
Play like Brunswick to me is fast and big pockets.
I would not hit a hog in the behind with a ball return system. And I would not so employ a "blocking" mechanism to cause a ball return system to function as a drop pocket. Brunswick completely missed the boat on this.
Properly framed, the question is not "does it play like a Diamond" but rather "does it play like a Gold Crown".
