UK Open 2025 Telford, UK, May 6-11

Doe WNTTV let me watch previous matches from this tournament? Or only live?

wish it would let me "start from the beginning" or at least rewind to an earlier point in the match. i'm ahead of UK time and coming home to the last few balls in the final rack.. seems like i missed a good performance by souto. very good match stats at least

Strange. I thought I could see the earlier part of a live stream, but it looks like I can't. Maybe I remember the snooker streams. I think those are done by the same company, but the features seems to be different. Let's hope both streams get better.

Tyler babied a few shots and it almost cost him. But he played great. Lost the safety battles to fall behind 8-5, but picked it up while Wilenski wilted a bit under the pressure. 10-8 win.

I have new found respect for Styer.
Well done
I have a feeling that the winner will be whoever wins between Styer and Yapp
Souto has been the best player this week, with Yapp a hair behind. Souto is not great defensively, though, and Yapp is a more cerebral player.

someone involved with the streaming service was on here and responded in an earlier thread. should pop him a pm

OK, four left and Yapp (Fargo 832, World #12) must be heavily favored to win the title over three sub-800 Fargo players, but everybody is in with a chance.

Wishing these four fine players the best of luck.

Anyone know when the last time an American not named Shane (or Fedor) reached the final of a 9ball major? I don't but I'd guess it has been close to twenty years. Tyler can get there with one more win.

I checked the US Open 9-Ball -- Putnam losing to Appleton in 2011 and Deuel losing to Appleton in 2010.

2006 (Schmidt) is the most recent after those two.

I got a feeling about Tyler.

Very nice to see "new" names at the later stages. And all have won something before, except Tyler S.... After the win over Filler, can he do it?
Souto is playing with a McDermott cue, the US have some presence even among european players.

Thanks for that. It appears, then, that Schmidt is the most recent American winner of a major 9ball event (other than SVB and Fedor). Knew it had been a while.
