Could you show the whole cue please?I agree the insert pulled out of the shaft. When I first read this post the comment about it having an unusual joint pin is what caught my attention. I have an old Brunswick, which was my father's cue. When I got it, the tip was lifting slightly on one side so I took it to Jim Florio at Towne Billiards in Hamden, CT. I left it with him to look over and tell me if it should be retipped. When I went back he said he thought I may have something special because of the pin in the shaft design and wouldn't do anything to it. He asked if I knew about Herman Rambow, which I did not. He sent me to Mark Kalungian. Mark was pleasantly surprised to see the cue and verified it was a Brunswick of the era when Herman Rambow was Head Foreman of the Cue Making Department. After Rambow retired from Brunswick in 1950 all Brunswicks had the pin in the butt design. It's all original with a leather wrap. Because it was my late father's it holds a holier than holy place for me. I hope someone appreciates this.
