I have one similar to this. Works well. See more info here and my remarks.

I have the one with the Dr. Billiards name plate on it. A local business that has three 9-foot tables uses this model every day. I figured it would be fine for my personal use and I am pleased with it. I also use it for my brothers table, and recently took it to tbe local American Legion and cleaned the balls for both of their tables. I use Aramith Ball Cleaner with it.

I found that using the Magic Eraser with a bit of water does a great job, I stopped using any cleaning products, just the eraser and then microfiber to dry and polish, take a few minutes to get the set nice and clean.

That's got to have an incredible affect on throw.

My buddy bought one and it works surprisingly well. For some reason we imagined it as smaller. The thing is still compact but it's like an appliance. For whatever reason we imagined it as the size of a bucket, it's hard to get a sense of scale with the pictures. Quite an impressive unit for the price point.

Magic Eraser is far too aggressive. Best of luck.

Can it do Carom 3-C 2.5 inch balls?

Anybody that has one - what is the size of the ball wells? From Amazon videos it looks like there is some space around pool balls even with the wool insert thingies in it.

16 pool balls plus 3 billiard balls = 19 balls.

I have a homemade thing that does three at a time, but that takes a while for 19 balls.

I got tired of scrubbing the balls by hand started looking into making a DIY one, but after I added up all the time and cost, it was easier just to get one of these.

There’s a bunch of them on Amazon that are all the same just with different nameplates. I found one for a really good deal.

Been very happy with it. I’ve seen a few pool halls using them too.

I bought one a few months ago and still haven't taken it out the box due to laziness. ha ha. Sorry, true story.

Why would you need a cleaning machine to do just three balls? Really that lazy?? ;)
16 balls is not that big of a difference, Can't see the need for a machine for a home use with one set of balls

Not really; you don't need to put much power into it to remove chalk spots and then polish with a microfibre. I have the Aramith ball cleaner; I don't think that it does a much better job, but it does take more time and effort.

My set of balls are 20 years old, Brunswick Centennial, and by now they are quite banged up with dings from past usage in pool rooms with shitty pockets and return systems. The tables I play on today at the pool room have nice drop pockets, so it's safer for the balls. Maybe it's time for a new set, but for my level of play these days, I think my old set still works.
