More gold cues please

I see barely any cues with gold inlays. Why don't we have more gold cues? I would think it would only take like 1 gram of gold to sheath a whole butt.

Gold is expensive, heavy, soft and ugly.

Friend has a restaurant and he doesn't carry Goldschlager because 1 valentines day he had a special cocktail with just a little Goldschlager in it. Customers were complaining there was something in their drinks.

I don't think cue makers go diving for Oysters to add Abalone inlays.

Genuine gold is sold in foils and sheet rolls. All they got to do is cut them like a Abalone square.
