Do you want to see some beautiful cues?

Yes, but there are others if you go back. Classiccues, Will Prout (Ibuycues), Vinnie, Tikkler, JK Marshall, and a bunch of others.
Yup. Hard core high end collections.

I sure don't have that kind of collection. Mine is eclectic. Sad when we lost Tikkler, I talked to him a number of times. He was kind to me.

You and Chopdoc now.

Fatboy got some good stories and knowledge too.

I'm sure there are others but you guys are the ones I know.

Thanks, but I don't really have a high end collection.

We don't have what we used to have here, so I just figured I would encourage people.

Yep, I talked to Tikkler too. Although he had so many fancy cues, he especially liked a very plain Rambow-looking Scruggs cue of mine complete with brass joint. He saw the beauty in artistic cues, but he could see the genius in well planned plain cues too.

He had a good eye.
It's not about fancy.
And he knew a lot.
Honestly, he humbled me with his kindness.

Chopdoc, your Dayton cue is stunning. He built beautiful cues. I had the pleasure of trying one and liked its hit. The case is beautiful too and combines with the cue to make a classy set.

Thank you so much.

My real motivation was to encourage people to get the cue gallery going, to get some to post cues and comments.

Wrong forum?! I prob should have looked in the gallery section before typing that.

I very much liked Paul Dayton. Great guy, great cueman.
In the Main Forum, anything pool related is fine and you can post in the Cue Gallery and Main Forum concurrently.
The For Sale section has strict requirements for all threads & subsequent posts. Indeed, it is a handsome pool cue.

He said...out of context, with errors and 6wks later.
