Just saw on facebook that Thorsten Hohmann will soon be taking his citizenship test to become an american citizen
My grandparents were immigrants. They came here the right way. Classes where they took tests, learned the Pledge of Allegiance, etc. The went thru the process you speak of.Good for him!
I have watched people do the work to become a citizen. It isn't a gimme, a lot of work involved including prepping for the test. Respect for him and everyone that goes through the process.
Hu
If Wiki is correct, Hohmann will be 46 this coming Monday (July 14).How old is Thorsten now? ...

He's a good man.
He did it the right way and living the American dream.
I'm sure he can find a place here with enough space than his home country can offer. Travel in the states and play pool. There are enough tournaments here to make a living especially now that SVB is picking and choosing what he plays in.
The test is similar to a 7th grade civics classGood to hear,I always liked Thorsten and from what I hear the test is not easy. Good luck to him
Yeah because living in Afghanistan, Ethiopia, or Haiti would be so much more pleasant. SMH !!!!!!I wish him the best of luck. Every time he leaves the US, there is no telling if he will be allowed to re-enter. Hope he is carrying a burner phone with zero social media on it, that is all I can say.
Why anyone would want to become a US citizen right now is beyond me.
None of these people stand a chance in hell of entering the US and becoming a citizen right now.Yeah because living in Afghanistan, Ethiopia, or Haiti would be so much more pleasant. SMH !!!!!!
That is ok.None of these people stand a chance in hell of entering the US and becoming a citizen right now.
