Ultimate Pool Kansas City Open

Putting a time limit on a match is still absurd in my opinion.
If I have a race to six match and we have a slow start and I’m down 0-2, it’s pretty much over for me… I want to know that the race is on to six and I have time for a comeback.
Losing matches 4-3 because of the clock is ridiculous…

It is ridiculous.....for BCA or APA or whatever league you want to play. Ultimate Pool is very openly telling us they are trying to be different. If they make it like everything else, it will suck just as much.

The tournament directors that really have it figured out know exactly how much time it takes to finish a race to six. In your above scenario there would be plenty of time for a comeback. Matches aren't won or lost by the clock, but by slow play.

Match time limits are put in place to allow the tournament to run smoothly & on time. Not to let a few slowpokes ruin the experience for everyone.
