I watched that match because both Shuff and Eberle used to play all the time in local tournaments in Rockville, MD. Back then Max was skinny, beardless, and had long black hair. Of course this was in the late 90's. Brandon looks older, but basically not that different than he was back then.

Neither of them were on their game tonight, missing one easy shot after another. In Brandon's case I hope it wasn't a medical issue.

I sympathize with Brandon as been dealing with some of that myself, not a major medical issue but more difficulty in getting down on the shot. If you haven't dealt with it, it's hard to describe the lack of confidence you can have. I caught him in dead stroke around 2009 and he made the game look so easy, I was absolute dead weight anyway but it was sobering to watch.

I think it is something serious with Shuff. He was in bad pain rubbing shoulder and had a hard time lifting his arm... Wincing constantly.

I agree. For $10 a month or $100 a year, it's affordable and brings the best of pool right to our homes. I love the commentary and even the commercials.

I also subscribe to the WST.tv for snooker for about $9 a month.

What about this one ? I am thinking using Tennis Wrap is pretty much "novelty". It changes the shapes (forms), grab, grips, feels...appearances...hell, why not use baseball bat and attach a shaft on it

The only reference I have is Derby City or Vegas. It is well run with a great atmosphere. The location is awesome! Plenty of room for spectators. It could use more seating around the 4 TV Tables. They added a second row but the second row is not elevated but does have tables. It has a very international feel to it. I hope I can return next year.

I know I can't be the only one hoping for a Kaci-Chua quarterfinal match-up. Kaci drew Alcaide in the round of 64, but I believe both are pretty good favorites to make the quarters.

He's a very strong player and enjoyable to watch - it is hard for me to believe his Fargo is 787

Anthony Meglino is up 8-3 on Jonas Souto who seems like he's been in great form recently. Meglino is a helluva player and could be poised to make a little run in this event - will play the winner of Max Eberle/Mario He.
