Matchroom found a winner. Frost said it reminded him of the U.S. Open, but on TV it seems like Orlando is better. Curious to hear from people who have been to both.

Hope the Manila Open is a big hit too. MR is trying all right.

Has it really been? Not sure why anyone puts any stock in commentary. Watched most of the SVB match. Never saw them pan around and look at the "huge" audience. Maybe Frost towing the company line.

There are more places to host a pool event other than F'N Vegas or NY/NJ.

Nice to see this much pool in FL. Also coming up the International and then the Women's World 9 Ball and Predator 10 Ball event.
 
Gorst, Filler, Yapp and Biado are the clear top four imo. SVB and Chua have been in and out of this group. But these days there are no guarantees.

I expect the winner to come from SVB, Yapp or Krause. Lechner and Neuhausen are dark horses - Moritz has the kind of game that matches well with Krause.

Lung or Gangflot would be huge upsets. Lung’s last top 4 finish in a major was 2019. Morra not quite as much as a surprise IF he gets by SVB.

Well, I saw them pan around. I know what i saw. Plenty of people making some noise.

Didn’t say "huge" either — pool never draws a huge audience anywhere.

Florida has just been better than the UK, Europe and WPC.

As for the company line, I listen to WNT commentators a lot. More than most. They actually don’t tend to fuss about the crowd and have often acknowledged when it was light. Boyes especially. They don’t try to make things up.
