And all of those great players haven’t been doing so great since they started using it… all of them won their big titles before using it permanently on their cues.
Maybe if SVB will win this one, they’ll drop it too.

SVB added an extension onto his cue for multiple shots yesterday in both matches.

Was it a longer "extension" he removed?

Risky position shot, it turned out. He came up short on the position on the eight. Even if he intended to come up shorter on the eight, and overran his position as you think, he still would have had to gone up and down the table. Classic case of getting out of line and falling further out of line.

But he didn’t have any other great options imo. Doesn’t look like he had enough angle for a simpler cut on the eight to get to the nine. The nine was on the rail near middle of the table.

He had to use some kind of power to go up the table and come back down.

i think he could roll forward and not be too much above the side pocket. he started the runout with a great cut shot on the 2, max is a good shooter
 
This is the semi-final, why aren't players walking into the arena with music?

Surely Matchroom can find an announcer.
 
I will say the use of a DJ and the crowd seems great. Gives me Mosconi Cup vibes. None of the sharking but just the kind of spectacle you want for pool.

I hope it feels like the Mosconi Cup when we reach the Finals. That way all my friends and family won't fall asleep on my couch every time I'm watching pool on my 98" TV. It's hard out here for a pool enthusiast. I'm just trying to be a good host.
