Two weeks ago, I picked up a house cue 18 oz good tip/straight, I really remember, liked and felt a few shots, just like the old days.
Then today....
I saw this comment he'd just made. ''so I decided to stop using the extension to see if it would help my rhythm''

It makes allot of sense, he began with a 58".
Reinspired.... perfect timing for the US Open eh.... Stu :).

I'll take 10-1 that SVB wins the US Open only if I can bet $500.

All my $ is going into the market, otherwise I'd gladly take this.

Good luck! I hope he wins

I sure hope the full time extension fad is over, by players shorter than 6' 4" tall! That was the dumbest few years in pool I've ever seen.
Several players have experienced quite a bit of success playing with an extension- Shaw won many tournaments and I think was using one for his high runs in straight pool.

SVB has been using one for the vast majority of the time for the past 10 years and Kaci has used one with great success.

I’ve been using a 6 inch extension for about 5 years. I’m by no means a great player, but I really like the feel of it. It helps you generate power and I feel it stabilizes my stroke. I actually think it may be beneficial for shorter players as there are more shots that are harder to reach with a standard cue.

kaci is a giant. relative to that his cue is normal

Much worse for shorter players. The cue length should be relative to your height. A longer cue won't help much with reaching shots because the extra length goes to the back of the cue, not the front, because you can't magically start playing with a 18" bridge. All it does is cause the cue to be super back weighted and really unwieldy.

True but Kaci's game was borne later than Shanes.
Newer equipment.

His table movement, walking ball to ball when he gets rolling is ''how 9 ball is played''.

Gambling matches.... us boyzs use to say from the sweater seats watching St. Louie Louie, or any great player NOT MISSING.

''Swing it"!!!!
