Allison Fisher, Mark Wilson and Mike Gonzalez have launched their new pool history podcast called “Legends of the Cue”. Allison’s story has been released and the rest of Mark’s interview will drop at midnight. Upcoming guests include Nick Varner, LoreeJon Ogonowski-Brown, Mike Massey, John Schmidt, Billy Incardona, Mika Immonen, Jeanette Lee, Jim Rempe and many more. Probably, but more as short story videos than the entire interview. WE will put these interviews up in video format at some point but will be constraining by time and tech know-how.

I have very much enjoyed what I’ve heard so far, but I Hoover up anything pool related so I’m easy.

My father in law is not easy. The man is a chronic complainer and excuse maker. I love him enough that I made a “Larry’s No Complaints” playlist for when he comes out to the shop for a smoke. “Damnit Laurance! You gotta smile when Tony Joe White comes on. You know if it’s too loud, you’re too old!”

Anyways, he comes out today to tell me how he would do my job and dismissively harrumphs as he asks what I’m listening to. Podcasts aren’t cool to him.

Imagine my surprise when he laughs out loud when Mark Wilson mentions that Frank Stellman made him mop the floor and take out the trash.

Dag-Nabbit! I can relate!

I just smiled at him and thought to myself that I had sex with his daughter last night… and this morning.

I'm fortunate that I periodically get to spend some time and talk with Mark in St Louis. Really nice guy and great story teller. I knew his "Nashville" story - because we've discussed that before, and had something in common as I also worked for Bobby (much later than Mark) delivering/installing pool tables for a very short time before joining the Air Force. He messaged me this link on FB and each podcast was fantastic.
