In my area, it's a very pretty even mix of blacks, whites, and mexican players. Pool is just big in general in my state, so most people grew up playing some shape or form.
I would say thank you, but there doesn't seem to be a question mark in my post. Because you felt compelled to reduce stats, you completely forgot about the Amazon players. You're not very good at this.
If you want to play detective get back on the case or you’re fired.

You called for an investigation so obviously you wanted to know the reason, which I have supplied for the Samoans while the amazon consists of several countries, so you'd need to more specific or take a geography class.

The opportunities or few and far between, especially for any type of sponsorship. How many Black Senators, Male or Female, Senators do you see? Most White Players don't think that Black Players have enough natural Talent to play World-Class Pool!! Most parents hated Pool because of its reputation, and after begging for a Pool table in my zBasement, my dad took it out of the House because I fell in love with the game, hardly wanted to play baseball and basketball to try to quickly learn to Play pool, and the reputation for Good Players to skip school and Gamble, which I never Did! Pool has a terrible reputation, and has less visibility the Pickleball or Cornhole competition.Bowling doesn't have the negative public impression that Pool has, and they gamble, a lot. Golfers gamble a Lot, but Pool has the Bad Reputation. I was lookout Suspiciously for trying to be a "Pool Shark" Nothing about it was considered to be positive, except to make you a better Gambler! The emphasis on training in the United States is poor, compared to other countries, but for the same reasons that you don't see many minorities in leadership positions in Business, Government, Auto Racing, etc.. it's not because Blacks don't have interest or that it doesn't or didn't pay well. It's DISCRIMINATION! The same reason that you have so few Women in highly visible, lucrative, positions of power. Cisero Murphy wasn't allowed to play in the U.S. Open, despite winning the New York City Championship at 16, and winning the Eastern States 14.1 Championship six straight times until fellow Players threatened to pullout if he wasn't allowed to play, and as soon as he was allowed to play, he won Back-to-Back Titles. Not much has changed, most Black Players feel that Josh Roberts plays well enough to be on the Mosconi Cup Team, but not likely in America, and Blacks were surprised that Rodney Morris was on the Team as many years as he was. Auto Racing, not many opportunities. Golf, not many opportunities. Tennis, not many opportunities. Senator, not many opportunities. CEO, not many opportunities. Decision maker positions for Minorities, not many opportunities, especially in America. In the 1960's and even until Filipinos and Oriental people started being allowed to play in America, pool languished, and has vastly improved since races and Nationalities from all over the world were accepted and allowed to play in America. Men can't speak fully to the lack of pay and opportunities for Women, and most on this panel can't fully speak to the drastic lack of opportunities in Pool. There was a time when Blacks weren't considered good enough or smart enough to play Major League Baseball, Basketball, Middle Linebacker, Quarterback, Coach any Team, or a general manager, but the lack of Exposure, the lack seeing someone like yourself, and the lack of Training/Coaching/Exposure on TV/Heroes to emulate, and support from the Sport itself has affected the Quality and competitiveness of the American Pro Game. The Average African American doesn't see themselves playing Pro Baseball, so they don't have much interest growing up, and can't even throw to first Base or Home Plate, but can play Basketball or Football. Baseball doesn't care, and Pool doesn't Care. Adverising of any kind is almost non-existent, and Parents still think that Pool is a terrible thing for their kids to do with their time, or that there is no real benefit, other than having a little useless fun, in a BAD ENVIRONMENT, regardless of the Tournaments, Video Games, Darts, Basketball Hoops, Cable, and Leagues!
On the WorldStage, the Other Countries and Nations, absolutely destroy America in Top Pool competition, because America isn't interested in putting their best Team on the Felt, America is interested in winning with their Selected, Restricted, Choices, and America, for the most part, isn't even competitive, except for a few Players, like Shane. The Talent level for who America showcases, is embarrassing. The results speak for themselves. Even Poland could field two Teams to beat America, and the Philippines could field Five Teams, with Players under 30, that could beat every American Team that we would currently present for competition. The whole country is not being considered. I love Pool, but this is what it is, Hand-Picked, it always has been, and it's better now than years ago.
Black Players didn't have any National Heroes to cheer for in the Game, so we worshipped Mosconi, Greenleaf, Fats, Hoppe, Cuelemans, Sigel, Mizerak, Earl, Buddy, etc.. However, being a Lefty, I adored the Games of Cranfield, DeOro, Sigel( Right-Handed but Shot left like his Teacher did!), Mizerak, Morris, Frost, Judd Trump, Neil Robertson, Shaw, Wu, Filler, and even the New Snooker Champion Zhao, knowing that I never played Snooker or Three Cushion. Look how the Filipinos have changed the game, especially kicking, and how dominant the Europeans are! growing up, Black Player KNOW, that they will never get a fair shot at being on a Premier Team in America, and Blacks were absolutely shocked the Rodney Morris was on the Team,and he was a U.S. Open Champion, who people acted shocked that he had enough talent to win it! Pool doesn't promote its Heroes, and doesn't know how! Blacks definitely don't expect to be promoted, if the entire Sport of Pool, and even Billiards overall, is so poorly promoted, and at least up until recently, pays so poorly.

in our era there are very few hidden monster players, especially in the USA and europe.
What is the big deal about the Color of Players skin, POOL is USA as a whole is like Pool in Phoenix in shrinking mode, not growth mode. If you want to worry about something it should be how to attract people to the GAME. No weather their Black, White, Brown, Gay, Straight, or Trans. JMHO

It is about educating pool folks who do not know what we know. There are a lot of folks who say American Pool is never better. If we can show one contingent which was once greatly involved but is no longer, it provides a point to convince, then extrapolate and begin analysis. (Oh, shit, he's right. Why are our black friends no longer participating? Where are they participating? Can we bring them back?)
It is my belief that Black American Pool Players were a very important segment of our sport. It is a shame segregation was allowed to do what it did, with pool and everywhere else. But this is now, and it's time to move on several fronts.
I believe that American Pool is in serious decline compared to my younger days and even worse compared to the 40s and 50s. If I am correct, should we not be seeking solutions? This is our sport to save.
