Feedback on My Stroke & Mechanics – Looking to Improve Fundamentals

I see so many flaws, you need some professional help. Asking the internet for help isn't going to work You need hands on with an instructor.

Timing is off, Why the heck to you lean into the stroke, Every shot is jacked up. Approach is horrible. I can't see your stance.

As a bonus your playing will improve, the downside it's going to take a bit to get these new things ingrained.
Whoaah, lighten up, my boy...you sound like you're the one needing professional help...

And being the great fundamentals expert, you did not catch his stance at 0.30..?Mymy...

I like your pause on the backswing. If you watch Yapp, Feijen they have a beautiful pause in their strokes. But unless you eliminate all the movement in your mechanics, you'll never be able to run three balls. 😯

Because his approach is not horrible and hes not jacked up on every shot.Apart from the leaning in (which might not be that big a factor but certainly doesnt help) the guy has good fundamentals and a smooth stroke.

Not saying hes the next us open champ but did you notice he just ran a rack of 10-ball..?

Thanks I also didn't think I was jacked up on every shot (looks at the alst two shots). The ones I am jacked up was because the shot required it (like the 1st one).

He really needs to go watch video of top players. Watch their PSR as well as their delivery. IMO its WAY easier to watch-mimic than to go by what someone says on a forum. His stroke isn't too bad, he just need to see/grasp how good players do it. Watch some of Niels' stuff, he really is someone to copy.
Not sure if just watching someone will have you copy their fortitudes...there are plenty of good instructionals on youtube and filmimg yourself is probably the best analysing tool.

You have a smooth transition from drawing back to accelerating forward on your final stroke.

Faults in the transition is probably the biggest culprit in missing as you wont hit the cue ball where you intended and causing unwanted
and therefore uncalculated deflection.

Welcome!

I noticed that you lean your entire body and head forward on the final stroke of each shot. No saying if keeping that still will improve your game or not...
Regarding your movement, when I was learning to play, someone told me that when I'm stroking to after I pull the trigger, only part of my body that should be moving if below my elbow. That was easy to remember and incorporate. I'm not 100% sure it's good advice but I believe it helped me.

I've uploaded a short video of myself playing pool and would really appreciate some constructive feedback. What I'm mainly interested in is how my stroke, stance, grip, follow-through, and overall mechanics come across to more experienced eyes.

Thanks. Also, this is my first post!
Practice Session
I thought you really looked good. If you shoot that good just half of the time, you would be a champion. All you need is a pool league team shirt.

I would like to see your break.

That is especially :poop: looking. If you think that looks good and proper. You have no clue what a good stroke is.

Everyone already mentioned the movement, if your grip was a little lighter you wouldn’t appear to be pushing your cue so much, simple things like looser grip and relax your stroking arm but not bad at all. The one thing I do see is that you tend to hit other balls with the CB when it’s not necessary, pick a target for your CB and leave the other balls alone. It didn’t hurt you in this rack but it will
