I posted the wrong cue the first time. Here are the correct pictures.

No idea what this is.
I have no specs. Just pics.
You can see the veneers are butted, not mitered.
Any ideas?

You can send pics to John Showman, he may be able to help. I believe Tillis had 7 dashes in his rings and the joint has to be 5/16X18. Could be Wayne Gunn his apprentice. As it does have a Tillis look
 
perfect for a playing cue/ well made it looks like, and not ostentatious at all for one.

Purple outer veneer eliminates about 1990 or so. Other than that, it looks like Joss was playing around with a design. But I don't think it's a Joss. Someone had that purple veneer much after 1990. Could have been anyone after that. Nice cue by the way. Not a garage project.

I was thinking Joss as well.
