Is the butt in a Predator carom cue the same as the butt in a pool cue ?
I see a carom cue that I like and I can get it butt only.

Even for cues that have the same line names for both pool and carom, there are differences in taper, as well as weight and therefore balance between pool cue butts and carom cue butts.

That’s not what Predator says.
It looks like they use a titanium joint to make it a little lighter but sizes are the same.

They are identical in every aspect except weight. Their carom cues are one ounce lighter, easily remedied by adding a one ounce weight. I shoot with a Predator carom cue but I can't comment on the shaft as I had only bought the butt.
It is my understanding the butts are identical and with respect to the shaft taper, I know the 3c revo is tapered much like a pool cue.
