Practice what I Preach

"The Beat of Her Drum" he left out Own. The news about Portland falls into my wheelhouse (a baseball term). That seems so timely. 👍 Here Come the Judge.
Ah, the balance beam is a visualization in my pre shot dance that some call Routine.
The flavor oh the day is one handed phenolic tip with chalk. Jacked up of course.
3 ball with left vs right (of course).
Gives me a good look er uh opportunity to break it down. Er uh? Find the first thing first? Watching the cue tip to ball interaction can be entertaining and enlightening. Try it. 🤷‍♂️ What could hurt.
"If you don't like it, I'll take it out." 🤔 seems like a lie detector overload.

Oh yeah, play it as a rotation game. With hand change on a miss. Shooting them in numerical order.
A Break and Run score of 4 is worth a 🏆.
Better get back to beating my own drum er uh hand, with the other hand? Never mind......

Synchronicity Oh the day is found in Mike Masey Interview I found here.

One handed? Oh wow.

I just came upon an interesting article.
The article said:
"Research has linked self-directed speech to everything from higher focus to improved task performance. It’s like giving your mind a coach, a mentor, and a motivator all rolled into one—except it’s you."
Reminds me of my self to self talk as I racked the balls. It was key in gaining a focus or refocus on solving the problem one step at a time. One ball at a time is a doable thing when 6 racks behind. My inner coach started with, "Don't worry about looking helpless, you've already done That."

Self talk is as nonsensical as the cue ball last theory. The truth is talk of any sort in your head, that little inner voice is your conscious mind being present. To really play your best, the goal is the removal of the conscious mind from the equation. It doesn’t belong, nor has any use near a pool table.

It's not a theory it's a reality.
🤷‍♂️
The evidence is becoming overwhelming. The list of player that look at the white as they strike it is substantial.
The Experiments thread chronically identifies players that do look at whitey last.

You know, this sounds like all so much blather that is reminiscent of “experts say”.
Yet no one ever identifies the experts
