Outsville techno dud vs. Elkmaster milk dud

I have them both on two of my cues , its a Ford , Chevy or Dodge sort of thing or which girl is the prettiest ha ha they both hit a ball very well transferring english very well in my opinion a miss cue from either was a brief time where I didn't do my part paying attention to how I was stroking the cue to in turn hit the shot .

Both hold chalk well ( Masters Flag chalk ) and I normally chalk up before each shot .

Neither have mushroomed so it boils down to which is most readily available and that you like the looks of and will in turn give you confidence in using it in a game .

A sharp blade is important for installing any tips, but it's even more important on the Outsville. A dull blade will ruin one. The good thing is blades are cheap.

I've tried both, made some of my own. Both are good. In all honesty @pooldawg8 makes some awesome duds. His are every bit as good or better than the technoduds. I can make them but mine are inconsistent. Out of 6 tips I get 2 magic ones and 4 decent ones. I've just started ordering from him because I know they all have that "magic" in them.

Sir Rusty, how would you describe the sound?

Unfortunaley, he only sells them in the states and I got a friend outside of it thats interested...do you know a less patriotic source..? ;)

Hello , first off you need to remember that I'm a bit hard of hearing not as bad a Shane but close ha ha !
However I'd compare it to the sound of a well placed bullet on a big game animal or close to it when not using a magnum rifle but close , the feel that is transferred back to your hands confirmed a good hit to the cue ball .

Where is your friend? If it’s Canada there are services that give you a post box at the US side of the border and will bring your package into Canada. Can be picked up here or mailed out by the service. I’ve used to get tips and free shipping on a shaft I bought.
