Billy is the best ever American pool commentator by a mile.
The three cuegesI'd say it's a tie between him and Grady.
But Billy, Grady, and Buddy were amazing! They should have had their own comedy show.
Well said Jennie! We had three sessions with Billy and have a very special one planned if it all works out! This podcast series is going to be epic. Billy Incardona knows exactly how to keep an audience engaged with his wisdom, quick wit, and unmistakable charm. I absolutely adore him.
One of my fondest Billy memories goes back to the 2003 U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship at the Chesapeake Conference Center. The place was packed that weekend, and I managed to snag two end seats in the bleachers, right in front of the live-stream table. A few moments later, along comes Billy Incardona, who sat down right next to me. As the match progressed, Billy began giving me a play-by-play. I hung on every word. It was like having my own personal pool commentator sitting beside me, a one-of-a-kind experience for a lifelong railbird like me.
As the years went by, Billy and I forged a friendship both on and off the tournament trail. To me, he’s the most interesting man in the pool world. If you ever have the good fortune to chat with Billy, you’ll instantly become a fan of his deep pool knowledge and a genuine admirer of his kind, down-to-earth nature. He’s also a smile magnet. You can’t help but smile back when Billy greets you with that twinkle in his eyes.
I created a Wiki page about Billy many moons ago, but it deserves more color, and Billy certainly has plenty of that. One day soon, I’ll carve out the time to track down the references and stories that do him justice.
Billy Incardona isn’t just a commentator or a player. He’s a living, breathing part of pool’s heartbeat , and for those of us lucky enough to know him, that’s something we’ll treasure forever.

Thanks for sharing Matt. Your Dad may have met his match in Mark Kendall for owning Accu-Stats videos. Mark is the founder and lead guitarist for the rock band Great White. Thanks for listening!I started enjoying ACCU-STATS videos in 1998 when I discovered you could rent them from STARCADE BILLIARDS when I was stationed in Ft Walton Beach. I turned my dad on to Accu-stats and he became a fanatic, buying TONS of tapes. I would go home on leave, in heaven, watching great matches and borrowing whatever I wanted. Of course this led to a great admiration and appreciation for the commentary of Grady Mathews and Billy Incardona - my favorite commentary team, ever. They had a real chemistry. I loved episodes 1 and 2. Can't wait to hear more. Perhaps we need 10 episodes for Billy. Keep up the great work!
Mark Wilson gives instruction at Cue and Cushion in Overland, MO periodically and we have been friendly for a few years. I played in one of his team events and that was fun. Anyhow, I believe it was Mark that told me about Mark Kendall. I didn't realize he was an Accu-Stats collector. Now, thankfully, we can view so much Accu-stats goodness on YOUTUBE. Take care! Thanks for sharing Matt. Your Dad may have met his match in Mark Kendall for owning Accu-Stats videos. Mark is the founder and lead guitarist for the rock band Great White.
